World famous Wailea Beach, which hosts the Four Seasons and Grand Wailea Resorts, is a 15 minute stroll along the ocean front Wailea walking promenade. Along the south Maui coastline are more than a dozen other beautiful golden sand swimming beaches, all of which are available to the public with convenient parking and facilities. Explore a new beach every day!

The Family Room has a 32" high definition television with CD, DVD and VCR. Entertainment is provided in each bedroom with a television, VCR, CD/DVD, iPod dock. A small television is also in the kitchen and family room.

Internet Access: High speed cable modem wireless network functions throughout the house and out by the pool. Also, hard-wire ethernet jacks are provided in both the 2nd King and twin bedrooms and the downstairs office.

Rates are plus General Excise Tax (GET) & Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT). GET is 4.166% and TAT is 9.25%, 10.25% on 1/1/18.

These rates are valid as of the current date. Rates are subject to change until reserved with a signed Rental Application & Agreement and payment of the initial amount due.

Infants and toddlers under two (2) years of age are not included in the total guest count. Toddlers and children age two (2) and above are included in the total guest count.

Occupancy is granted for the maximum number of guests noted above. Excess occupancy is not allowed and may also be regulated by resort and/or local County of Maui ordinance.

This privately-owned home prefers to receive payment by check, e-check, wire transfer or similar low fees transfer process, to avoid having to raise rates. You will be given an opportunity to pay by credit/bank card, but the bank fees will be calculated into your payment as an additional cost - per the homeowner’s preference.

Just a few of the inclusive complimentary benefits provided are Personal Concierge Service, parking for the number of vehicles stated in the property highlights on-line, high speed internet, local phone calls, tropical bath treats, and personalized arrival greeting and orientation.

Security deposit plus credit card guarantee is requested for this property, plus a separate incidentals deposit for guest requested special services. The security deposit may be reduced for repeat guests on subsequent visits.
Out-cleaning is pre-collected with the final payment. The owner reserves the right to charge for out-cleaning in excess of this amount, should the house be left excessively messy or soiled.

Minimum Stay: 6 nights

Maximum Occupancy: 10 guests total including children over 2 years of age. Also rent the adjacent Wailea Sunset Bungalow, and as many as 14 persons may enjoy this exceptional location.

Payment and Deposit

Deposit: $3500

Service Charge: A Reservation Service Fee will be collected with the initial payment in the amount of $125.

Initial Payment: 50% of rate & taxes

Final Payment: 60 days prior to arrival, however final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival for a Christmas/New Years reservation

Housekeeping

Out Cleaning: $1150

Housekeeping Provided: A complimentary mid-week housekeeping service is included up to 8 hours if renting for 7 nights or longer, except for select off-season periods. Personal laundry is excluded. Fresh towels are provided, bed linens are changed, trash is removed, supplies are replenished, exterior areas are touched up, and there is a light dusting and vacuum. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. Within the villa there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron and board. During the Christmas and New Years holiday period, DAILY housekeeping is provided, with the exception that there is no housekeeping service on Christmas Day December 25 and on New Years Day January 1.

Extra Housekeeping Fees: Additional a la carte housekeeping service is $40 per hour per housekeeper plus 4.166% GE tax with a 4 hour minimum.. Advance notice is requested. Subject to availability.

There is no cover or fence for the pool or hot tub spa. Guests are encouraged to actively monitor all pool and hot tub spa use and to bring any and all water safety devices they may need including water alert wristbands. Guest use of the outdoor areas including the pool and spa is at the guest's discretion and own risk.

The grass lawns surrounding the property and all neighboring properties are trimmed with a motorized mower one day each week.

A small cottage known as the Wailea Sunset Bungalow is immediately adjacent to the Wailea Sunset Estate. The two dwellings are in close proximity to one another and we cannot say they are exclusively private from each other. A modest amount of landscaping provides some separation. Guests of the Wailea Bungalow are not invited to use the grounds, pool, or amenities of the Estate home.

The master bedroom and two other main villa upstairs bedrooms are separated by an open-air patio called the moonlight terrace. The distance from the master bedroom to the others is approx. 30 feet. Baby monitors may be effective in overcoming the separation between bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is in a separate building near the carport on the (mountain) side of the property. It is also approx. 30 feet from the main villa. Access is via a covered open-air walkway.

SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a) Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area;

b) Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited;

c) Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street;

d) No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur; and

e) Rental is for one set of guests (family, group, etc.) at a time. Property is not rented at the same time to multiple sets of guests or to unaffiliated persons.
